Same-Day Agra Tour: questions people ask

What time does a same-day Agra tour start and finish?

6:00 am out, back between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm. Fourteen hours. Leaving later does not work — you arrive at the Taj in the worst of the afternoon and get home after midnight.

Are Taj Mahal entry tickets included in the price?

No. Taj and Agra Fort tickets are bought at the gate or online and are not in our fare. Foreign nationals pay considerably more than Indian nationals, and there is a separate charge to enter the mausoleum itself.

Can we add Fatehpur Sikri without making the day too long?

You can, and it sits naturally on the drive back. It adds about ninety minutes and gets you home closer to 10:30 pm. If you are already tight on time, skip it and do Abhaneri on the way out instead — it is shorter.

Are Uttar Pradesh state tax and tolls included in the tour price?

No, and this is worth reading. Crossing into UP means state entry tax on top of tolls. We hold the AITP permit that makes the crossing legal, and both are billed at actuals with receipts — our estimate is ₹420 for the pair, shown on your quote before you book.

Is the Taj Mahal closed on any day of the week?

Yes, it is closed to tourists every Friday for prayers. Agra Fort stays open. If your only free day is a Friday, we would move the trip rather than drive you 240 km to a locked gate.
