Ranthambore Safari Day Tour
Ranthambore and back in a day from Jaipur. The driving is only six hours in total; everything else is dictated by the forest department's safari slots, which are fixed and do not wait. Our fare covers the car — the safari is booked separately and we are explicit about that.

Ranthambore Safari Day Tour: questions people ask
- Is the safari permit or gypsy booking included in the taxi price?
No. Safari permits and gypsy seats are issued by the forest department and sold through their booking system — they are not ours to sell and we take no commission on them. Our price is the car, the driver and the waiting. Book the safari yourself, well in advance; slots sell out.
- What time must we leave Jaipur to make the morning safari?
4:00 am. Morning safaris start around 6:30 am and the drive is three hours. That departure sits inside the 9:00 pm to 6:00 am window, so the ₹300 night allowance applies — it is on your quote before you book.
- Can we do both a morning and an evening safari in one day?
Yes, and it is the better use of the drive if you are coming all this way. It turns the day into roughly sixteen hours and you get back to Jaipur near midnight. Many people prefer to stay the night in Sawai Madhopur instead.
- Where does the driver wait while we are on safari?
At the hotel or the zone gate, whichever you left from. Waiting is not charged — it is part of the day. He will be in the same place when you come out.
