The Khatu Shyam Ji temple in Sikar district

Khatu Shyam Ji Day Tour

Eighty kilometres and under two hours each way, which makes this the shortest day tour we run. The driving is the easy part — how long you are out depends entirely on the darshan queue, and we do not charge you for standing in it.

Khatu Shyam Ji Day Tour: questions people ask

What is the earliest pickup time you can arrange?

Any time. We run 24 hours and 3:00 am pickups for Khatu are routine, particularly around Ekadashi. Note that driving before 6:00 am falls in the night allowance window, so ₹300 applies — shown on your quote, not added later.

Can Salasar Balaji be added to the same day?

Yes, easily. Salasar is about 100 km beyond Khatu. Starting at 5:00 am gets you both and home by evening. The price rises only by the extra distance at your vehicle's published per-km rate.

Is the driver's waiting time during darshan charged extra?

No. However long the queue takes, waiting is inside the day. We have seen the queue run past four hours on festival days and the fare does not move — the only thing that changes it is distance.

How busy is Khatu on Ekadashi, and should we leave earlier?

Very. Ekadashi and the Phalguna Mela bring enormous crowds and a queue of several hours is normal. On those days leave Jaipur at 3:00 am, and be ready for the day to run long. If you have any flexibility, an ordinary weekday is a completely different experience.
