Itinerary
Where you go, in order

Day 1 — Leave Jaipur, 7:00 am
West on NH-48 with a halt near Ajmer or Beawar. Into Jodhpur by early afternoon.

Day 1 — Jaswant Thada and the clock tower
The marble cenotaph below the fort, then the Sardar market around the Ghanta Ghar as it comes alive in the evening.

Day 2 — Mehrangarh Fort
Go early, before the heat and the coaches. Allow three hours; it is one of the finest forts in India.

Day 2 — Return to Jaipur
Leave Jodhpur by 2:00 pm and you are home by around 8:00 pm, ahead of the night allowance window.

Jodhpur Tour: questions people ask
- Is two days enough for Jodhpur?
For the fort, Jaswant Thada, the old city and the market, yes. Add a day for Mandore gardens or a village safari; the price changes only by the extra kilometres and one more day of minimum running.
- Is my hotel included?
No. The price covers the car, the driver, fuel, and the driver's own food and lodging. Book your hotel yourself, or ask and we will suggest a few at different budgets.
- Can we carry on to Jaisalmer instead of coming back?
Yes, and it is a better use of the drive. Our four-day Jaisalmer tour goes through Jodhpur anyway, or we can price a one-way onward trip for you.
- Is there a night allowance on this tour?
Not unless the car is driving between 9:00 pm and 6:00 am. The driver staying overnight in Jodhpur does not count — his accommodation is our cost, not yours.
