Jaisalmer Tour: questions people ask
- Why go through Jodhpur?
Because nine hours in one go is a poor start to a holiday. Stopping at Jodhpur splits the drive into five and a half hours and three and a half, and puts a genuinely good city in the middle.
- Can the car take us to the Sam dunes?
To the edge of them, yes, on a sealed road. The ride onto the dunes is by camel or jeep, run by the camps and booked with them there.
- How is a four-day tour priced?
On the distance actually driven — about 1,200 km — at your vehicle's published per-kilometre rate. That is well above our 250 km daily minimum, so the minimum does not come into it.
- Is the drive home in one day too long?
It is a long day, around nine hours. If you would rather break it at Jodhpur again, add a fifth day and we will reprice it before you book.
