The largest fort in India, about 110 km short of Udaipur and only a few kilometres off the highway. Allow two hours; the fort is driven around, not walked.

A textile town, roughly two-thirds of the way. A practical halt rather than a sight.
Nathdwara
The Shrinathji temple, a detour north of Udaipur. Add about an hour and a half if you want it.

Yes, it is barely off the route and it is the best reason to drive this leg rather than fly it. The detour kilometres are charged at your vehicle's per-km rate; there is no separate stop charge.
- Does an overnight halt in Udaipur add a night allowance?
No. The allowance is for driving between 9:00 pm and 6:00 am, not for the driver staying overnight. If you arrive at 4:00 pm and the car is parked all evening, there is no allowance. Driver accommodation is our cost, not yours.
- How much minimum daily running is charged on a Jaipur to Udaipur trip?
