Broken at Jodhpur, almost always. It turns a punishing day into two comfortable ones and puts a genuinely good city in the middle. The fare is the same either way, because you are billed on distance, not on how you split it.
- How many days of minimum running are charged on a Jaisalmer trip?
Our minimum is 250 km per day. A return trip to Jaisalmer is 1,120 km, which is well past the minimum for the three days it realistically takes, so you are billed for the distance actually covered rather than the minimum.
- Can the car go out to the Sam sand dunes?
Yes, Sam is 40 km west of Jaisalmer on a sealed road and our vehicles go there. The dune drive itself is done in a jeep run by the camp, not in our car — that is separate and not something we book.
